Janna Whitton, M.A.As a certified speech-language pathologist, Janna’s passion has always been to help others. Throughout her life, she has been keenly interested in health, fitness and the mind-body connection. Once she started taking Qigong and Tai Chi classes, learning about and experiencing the many benefits of these beautiful forms, she knew she wanted to share these ancient practices to help others enjoy the benefits as well.
Janna is certified to teach Qigong and Tai Chi Easy by Dr. Roger Jahnke of the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi. She is certified to teach Tai Chi for Busy People and 4 Minute Fitness by Dr. Keith Jeffery and Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention, Seated Tai Chi for Arthritis, Tai Chi for Energy 1 & 2, Tai Chi for Rehabilitation by Dr. Paul Lam's Health Institute. In partnership with Keith Jeffery, Janna certifies others to teach Tai Chi for Busy People and 4 Minute Fitness for health enhancement. Janna has studied Qigong with master Qigong instructor Daisy Lee, Qigong and Tai Chi with Master Zhong during an intensive 3 week training in China and Tai Chi and Qigong with Grandmasters Chen Zhenglie, Yang Jun, Ma Hailong and Sun Yongtian during an International Tai Chi Chuan Symposium in Louisville, Kentucky. She began her studies under John Chiu in 2010 and is experienced in the practice of traditional Tai Chi Forms such as the 10 Form, 24 Form, 42 Form, 18 Sword Form, 32 Sword Form and the 52 Kung Fu Fan Form and enjoys sharing these meditation in motion movements with others. |
